B-17 Squadrons of the 100th Bomb Group

Warbird Aviation Art is proud to offer this special set of four absorbent coasters - “B-17 Squadrons of the 100th Bomb Group”.  There is perhaps no more storied heavy bomber group of WWII than what became known as the “Bloody Hundredth.” Based out of RAF Thorpe Abbotts, the group flew 306 missions, lost 229 aircraft, and suffered 785 men killed or missing in action. The courageous service of the men of the 100th is legendary in the annals of military history. This set honors the 349th, 350th, 351st and 418th Bomb Squadrons that comprised the 100th Bomb Group, derived from the original paintings of each authentic unit insignia by artist Ron Kaplan. A portion of each sale goes to the non-profit 100th Bomb Group Foundation, supporting its mission of preserving the group’s rich legacy for future generations.

Each four-coaster set includes a wood holder and arrives in a protective clear mylar box. The cork backing of each coaster is stamped with the edition title, making each set even more collectible (watch here for future editions). Ideal for any man cave, hangar, kitchen or bar, these coasters are so stunning that they could be framed.   $38 per set includes FREE shipping.
