ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECES
As Ron Kaplan has traveled the country for Warbird Aviation Art and worked with over a hundred famous aces and military aviators on his limited edition panel program, he has amassed an inventory of unique autographed aluminum pieces, many of them one-of-a-kind and several featuring multiple signatures. Among such aircraft pieces are five radial cowling sections signed by multiple Doolittle Raiders, Corsair skin signed by multiple Black Sheep Squadron aces, a 100 lbs practice bomb signed by five MEMPHIS BELLE crewmen (including pilot Bob Morgan), and two large pieces each signed by ten Mustang aces from the 357th Fighter Group, to name a few. Each has nose-art or insignia hand-painted by Kaplan.
From time to time, Kaplan will paint and frame one of these highly collectible rarities and make them available for purchase on a first-come basis (such as with several of the pieces posted here).
